Thanks so much for the tour arrangement for my family to Cambodia .

The pre tour booking with Cambodia office (Mr. Sam, in particular) were excellent. He provided a good support to us, since we were very new to this part of the word. Mr. Sam was very patient and replied all my email queries in details and very promptly.

Extremely happy with pre-tour booking arrangement.

 

Regarding the actual tour, we were “extremely happy” with our tour guide, Mr. Hoeum & the van driver (Mr. Bo). Mr. Hoeum spoke fluent English and was well conversant with different cultures/ traditions and gave very detailed information to us about each & every place. He was very accommodative to suit our different needs during the tour (My family of 2 adults and two children 15 & 7 years). He knew exactly what is the best time to visit each place and this was very useful to make the most of our 3 days.

 

We will certainly recommend “ Merry Travel” and Ms. Sam/ Mr. Hoeum, Mr. Bo to our friends who want to visit Siem Reap!!!!!!

Thank you for your lovely email and for the wonderful organization for our holiday. Everything was completed as you had planned and every person we came into contact with was courteous and friendly. All the guides had good knowledge of your country and were proud to share it with us; the drivers were friendly and helpful.

 

We really enjoyed the opportunity to meet with people at your office, in all the villages (both in Siem Reap and Phnom Penh ), restaurants we went to, and at the cooking class, and silk factory. We loved all the temples at Siem Reap. It was a privilege to have a lecture from Khmer Archeologist before visiting the temples.

 

Both Hotels were excellent and the New Year celebrations at The Raffles - Siem Reap were fabulous.  

 

We especially want to mention how much we enjoyed Mr Nom as our guide in Siem Reap. He was professional and knowledgeable but also a good friend and generous in sharing his time. His good humor and cheerful courtesy was a large part of our enjoyment of our stay.

 

We thank you for introducing us to your lovely country and the warm, friendly and generous people of Cambodia . We look forward to returning at some time and if we do we will definitely contact you again. We will also be happy to recommend your services to any friends or family who may be coming to Cambodia .

Thanks again for your work on my trip to Cambodia last month, the excellent arrangements, the tour guidesf Norod and Bunny and the drivers whose names I don't have.  Everything went well -- good and informative tours, nice hotels, good meals, easy transportation.  I've been telling my friends here in he US that they must travel to Cambodia-- that it is a must visit place in SE Asia . (And for those who are interested, telling them about Merry Travel.)

I know my tour was the "standard" but it didn't feel that way -- it really did seem designed for me.

Very well, thank you – first day back at work, all seems well! I hope you’re well too.

We had a very good trip, the distance we travelled each day was quite long, and next time I would probably try to make a few more stops (and plan a longer holiday!). Our driver was very good, and also very helpful when we changed our plans in Mondulkiri – there was no issue.

It was a long drive but it went very well. He certainly did a lot better than I would have driving that distance! He was also very helpful finding our hotel in Sihanouk Ville – we climbed a lot of steps!

I would also like to thank you for your help in creating the trip, it all went very smoothly.

I hope to visit your lovely country again!

I can't say enough about what an incredible experience this trip was! And it's made all the more impressive by the fact that you were able to pull it together so quickly. Everyone we worked with was the height of professionalism and a real pleasure to be with. I especially want to recognize our guides, both of whom were excellent. Sokheng was lovely, well-spoken, and extremely knowledgeable. I wish we'd been able to spend more time with her and in Phnom Penh , but we managed to pack a lot into two days. Since we got to know Virak, in Siem Reap, a little better, we got even more of a sense of his capabilities. He was just so versatile and flexible, accommodating all my last-minute requests to visit more shops or hotels. One moment he was leading us through an overgrown temple, providing detailed background information on the history, the construction, the carvings, the religious significance, and then the next, he was stopping along the side of the road to talk to the people catching crickets or making palm-sugar candy and showing us exactly what they were doing. He showed us so much more than we ever could have discovered on our own. And the drivers! They handled the roads with great skill, and driving there (as I'm sure Sabrina saw, too) is not at all straightforward or simple.

 

I also had no idea that you have a Khmer-speaking Englishman on the ground there! William invited us to drinks, and we had such a great conversation with him, which gave us a different level of insight to life there. Not to mention he was just a lovely person to spend the evening with. I know you thought the 240 in PP wasn't the most glam, and while of course, it wasn't the Raffles, in its own quiet way, it was a perfect rendition of what it was trying to be (if that makes sense). Highly recommended to anyone who wants a more affordable, lower-key place to stay. Of the three hotels in Siem Reap (which were all world class), on a personal level, the Grand Hotel made us feel the most welcome. We had lunch with Burd, the sales manager there, another of the wonderful people we met on this adventure.

I wanted to talk to you over the phone before I depart from Cambodia but we were all rushing to board the plane because we went for a last minute massage before we headed back home sweet home. Honestly, i made the right choice to book a tour with your company and I have no regrets on that. I am simply amazed with the services your company had provided us. We were given abundance of attention throughout the trip by you and also Mr. Him. Even Mr. Rith kept asking whether I am a VIP or what because you and Mr.Him called him quite often to check on us and whether everything is in place.

 

I have been to quite a few tours with my family and this was my first time going without my family and it was a totally great experience! It is a good strategy to called up your customers on their first day like what you did. This will make your customers feel confident on the services your company will be providing them throughout their stay. I didn't expect to meet Mr.Him in person. I would like to say a big thank you to you and your staff for the initiative taken and also for the classy and sweet souvenir. I will definitely be back in Cambodia very soon and I plan to visit Rattanakiri, Modukiri, Battambong and also Kampong Thom because these are the few places I have not been.

 

Not to worry, I will definitely pass words around because I am very happy with the tour and also the services provided by your company. This trip will definitely be an unforgettable experience for me and also my friends. Even though there are a few places that we did not managed to go due to time constraint, I still did enjoyed my time there and I have learned a lot of things from this trip. Hence, I would like to rate this trip a 10/10!!!

We did very much enjoy the trip & the organisation worked well.  We particularly liked the hotel in Phnom Penh and our second guide was a sweetie!  Our first guide was very knowledgeable, but in fact gave us rather more information than we could handle!  The cars & drivers were absolutely fine, the trips were fine too, although changed from the itinery and of course the weather was too hot and humid, but I guess you couldn`t do anything about that.

I have in fact already given the company`s name to a friend who is coming out in November.

Hello Sam!

 

We have been back in Finland for a few weeks now. I just wanted to write to you and thank you for a very nice tour in Cambodia . All the arrangments were so well organized and our drivers and guides took such a good care of us Especially Khim was a very good guide, we enjoyed his stories and guidance very much. All in all we were very pleased with the whole tour so thank you very much!

It was also nice to see you in Siem Reap :-) We have already been telling our friends about Cambodia and your firm so let's hope that you will get many more tourists from Finland in the future.
