Indochina Travel was, in soul, a French invention – and their influence is still evident in the colonial shop fronts of Phnom Penh and Vientiane, in Vietnam’s roadside baguette stalls and in the wide boulevards of Hanoi. But long before colonization, these three countries were bound together by nature – the Mekong River and its tributaries.
